How Sinar Works came to be
Sinar Works grew out of a straightforward observation: many small business owners in Singapore were hearing a great deal about AI tools but finding the conversation more confusing than helpful. The offerings were often designed with larger organisations in mind, and the language used was rarely plain or practical.
We started by working quietly with a handful of local offices — a small logistics firm, a neighbourhood dental practice, a two-person translation service — and each time the experience was the same. When approached with patience and clarity, the people running these businesses were entirely capable of using AI tools well. They simply needed someone to explain what was useful, what was not, and how to connect the pieces sensibly.
That is still what we do. We have kept the business small on purpose. Our view is that a smaller, focused team can give you more attention and more honest advice than a large consultancy with other interests at play.

Our mission is modest and clear: to help the owners and staff of small Singapore businesses spend less time on repetitive tasks and more time on the work that actually requires them.
We do this by finding out how your team actually works day to day, identifying the points where well-chosen tools could free up real attention, and then configuring those tools carefully so they run quietly in the background.

Rizal has spent twelve years working with small and mid-sized businesses on operations and process improvement. He founded Sinar Works after noticing how much useful time was lost to tasks that did not require a human.
Priya Lakshmanan
Integration Specialist
Priya handles the technical side of each engagement — connecting tools to existing systems, testing them until they run reliably, and writing clear notes so clients understand what has been put in place and why.
Wei Jian Ng
Client Support & Training
Wei Jian leads the staff walkthrough sessions and remains the main point of contact for Steady Beam retainer clients. He is known for explaining technical concepts in a way that sticks.

Honest assessment before work begins
We share our candid view of what is worth pursuing before any integration work starts. If the effort does not appear justified, we say so in the session summary.
Staff readiness, not just technical fit
A tool is only useful if your team feels comfortable with it. We include a staff walkthrough in every integration and pace it to the room.
Regular check-ins, not just setup and leave
For retainer clients, we monitor tools month to month and provide quarterly summaries. For project clients, we follow up after the fortnight of post-integration support.
