Why Sinar Works
What you gain from working with us
Most small business owners want practical help, not promises. Here is what we genuinely offer — and how it differs from the usual approach.
Back to HomeCore Benefits
Six things that matter
These are the advantages that owners most often mention after working with us.
Advice you can understand
We explain options in plain business language. You will leave every conversation knowing what was discussed and why, without needing to decode technical terms.
Focused on your situation
We do not apply a template. The In Focus Session maps your specific routines before anything is recommended, so suggestions are grounded in how your business actually works.
Proportionate pricing
Our services are priced for small businesses, not enterprise budgets. You pay for what is useful to you now, with clear options to do more if and when it makes sense.
Careful technical work
Configuration is done thoroughly, tested before handover, and documented in writing. We do not consider the job finished until the tools are running quietly and your team is confident.
Support that stays close
Every project includes a period of follow-up support. Retainer clients have ongoing weekday access. Questions are answered promptly and without making you feel that asking is an imposition.
Written records throughout
Every stage of our work produces a written summary. You always have a clear record of what was assessed, what was done, and what the next sensible step might be.
Expertise
Deep familiarity with small business operations
Our team has worked directly with small businesses in Singapore across service, trade, and professional sectors. We understand that a two-person office and a fifteen-person firm have different constraints, different rhythms, and different tolerances for change.
This background means we arrive at each engagement knowing what questions to ask and which suggestions to set aside. We do not need to spend time learning what a small business is.
- Twelve-plus years combined experience in Singapore operations
- Sector experience across services, trade, and professional offices
- Working knowledge of PDPA and local compliance considerations
What this means for you
You spend less time explaining the basics of running a small business and more time on the specifics of your situation. Advice arrives already calibrated to your context.
What this means for you
Your existing tools stay in place. We work around what you use, not in replacement of it. Disruption is minimal and the tools we add are chosen to fit, not force.
Technology
Thoughtful tool selection, not product promotion
We have no commercial relationships with the tools we recommend. Our selection process is based entirely on what fits your situation — your existing software, your team's capacity to learn, and the tasks you actually want to simplify.
We focus on AI-assisted tools for communication, scheduling, document handling, and follow-up work. These are the areas where small teams consistently spend more time than they should.
- No vendor affiliation — recommendations are independent
- Tools assessed for data handling and PDPA alignment
- Configuration tested before handover, not after
Service Quality
Attentive support, not a help desk ticket
We are a small team, which means the person who assessed your business is also the person available when something needs attention. There is no handoff to a junior tier or a scripted FAQ.
Retainer clients have weekday access. Project clients have a dedicated fortnight of follow-up support after integration. We respond to queries the same working day in most cases.
- Direct contact with the team, not a ticketing system
- Weekday availability for retainer clients
- Fortnight of post-integration support on project engagements
What this means for you
Questions are answered by someone who knows your setup. Small issues are addressed before they become inconveniences, and you are never left wondering who to call.
What this means for you
You start with what fits your budget and current needs. There is no minimum commitment beyond the session itself, and you can decide on next steps with a clear picture of the effort and cost involved.
Value & Pricing
Transparent pricing sized to small businesses
Our In Focus Session at S$174 is designed to be a low-stakes entry point. You receive a written opportunity map and candid estimates. The Focused Integration at S$335 and the Steady Beam Retainer at S$560 per month are priced for businesses operating without enterprise budgets.
All prices are stated upfront. There are no add-on fees for documentation, follow-up questions during the support period, or quarterly review reports under the retainer.
- No hidden charges or scope creep
- Clear deliverables for each service
- Entry point that does not require a large commitment
Outcomes
Measurable time returned to your team
The outcomes we work toward are concrete: fewer hours spent on routine tasks, clearer communication with customers, and documentation that no longer requires manual effort. These are changes you can observe in a working week.
We track progress through written summaries and quarterly reviews (for retainer clients), so the changes are documented rather than anecdotal.
- Routine task time reduced across engaged clients
- Staff report clearer daily structure after integration
- Written progress records at each stage
What this means for you
You are not paying for a vision. You are paying for practical changes to how your team works. Those changes are documented and revisited, not left to assumption.
How We Compare
Typical providers versus our approach
We are not the right fit for every situation, and we say so. Here is an honest view of where we differ from common alternatives.
| Feature | Typical Providers | Sinar Works |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum engagement size | Often requires months-long project | Single session available (S$174) |
| Vendor independence | Often affiliated with specific platforms | No commercial affiliations |
| Written deliverables | Varies; often verbal only | Included in all services |
| Support after setup | Often ends at handover | Fortnight included; retainer available |
| Honest "not worth it" assessment | Rarely in provider's interest | Part of every In Focus Session |
| Sized for small businesses | Often enterprise-focused, adapted down | Built for small offices from the start |
| PDPA-aware recommendations | Varies by provider | Assessed in every engagement |
What Sets Us Apart
A few things you will not find elsewhere
The Opportunity Map
Every In Focus Session produces a written document that marks which tasks in your business are genuinely worth addressing with AI tools — and which are not. You can use this independently of any further work with us.
The "Plainly Put" commitment
We commit to answering any question in plain language. If we cannot explain what a tool does in straightforward terms, we do not recommend it.
Quarterly review built into the retainer
The Steady Beam Retainer includes a clear quarterly summary and review. Both sides assess whether the partnership is delivering value, and adjustments are made accordingly.
Staff walkthrough, not just owner briefing
Integration work includes a walkthrough session for the staff who will use the tools day to day — not just the owner. This is included in the Focused Integration price.
